Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an Onsite Engineer to support customer sites in Malaysia. The role covers handling desktop, laptop, and printer issues, basic customer service, and remote troubleshooting while following established procedures.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of onsite/IT support experience, be willing to work rotating day/evening shifts, and adhere to security policies. This position offers growth, global exposure, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Min 2 years working experience as Onsite Engineer/Resident Engineer/IT Support.
Experience in troubleshooting desktop, laptop and printer.
Experience in ServiceNow.
Willing to work on shift: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm; 3pm-12am (during daylight savings, 4pm-1am) and Public Holidays.
Experience handling end-user enquiries over phone and perform troubleshooting remotely.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and basic literacy/numeracy.

Responsibilities

Perform routine technical requests at customer site to meet business and customer requirements.
Document and reports on work completed to ensure compliance with Company and Customer Procedures.
Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers to ensure consistent experience.
Contributes to identifying own development needs.
