Job summary

SGET Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an L1 IT Support professional to provide onsite user assistance, deploy new joiners and maintain IT equipment. The role emphasizes Windows OS troubleshooting, printer support and basic networking for day‑to‑day operations.

Candidates should have 1 year of relevant experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently onsite. Training and career growth available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT onsite/desktop/service desk support.
• Hands-on with new joiner deployment and IT equipment setup.
• Strong Windows OS troubleshooting and configuration knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting printers, drivers and printing issues.
• Basic networking knowledge: LAN, Wi‑Fi, IP, DNS, VPN.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide onsite user support.
• Microsoft 365 / Active Directory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 onsite IT support for hardware, software and basic network issues.
• Perform new joiner IT deployment, set up devices, accounts, software and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS and OS-level issues.
• Support printers and printing issues, including setup and drivers.
• Maintain devices: laptops, desktops, monitors, printers and other peripherals.
• Handle basic network troubleshooting: Wi-Fi, VPN.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
• Maintain incident and asset records.
• Assist with IT asset management and equipment deployment.
• Provide professional onsite technical support to users.
