Job summary

Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Support – Onsite Engineer to provide hands-on L2 network and IT asset support across sites in Johor. This role covers network infrastructure, end-user devices, data centre equipment, and IT assets.

You will work onsite, manage incidents via ITSM, use SolarWinds for monitoring, support Intune managed devices, patch and enrol devices, and document configurations. Five to ten years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Field/Infrastructure/Desktop/Network Support.
• Strong L2 troubleshooting and ITSM/ticketing experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of network connectivity, switches, ports, cabling, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience with SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, patching, and asset management.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite L2 support and manage incidents via ITSM platform.
• Monitor network health and diagnose using SolarWinds.
• Troubleshoot switches, Wi‑Fi, cabling, and connectivity.
• Patch devices, enroll devices via Intune, and manage assets.
• Support end-users and VIPs, document procedures, and assist L3 engineers.
