Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking an IT Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support for a manufacturing plant, ensuring availability and security of IT systems across hardware, software, network, servers, and PI/TESSA systems.

The role involves administering Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper-V environments, and onsite support for IT equipment while resolving incidents promptly and maintaining system reliability in a plant setting.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT experience in infrastructure or onsite support.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, OS, and application issues.
Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and peripherals.
Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
Monitor network connectivity and server performance (Windows/Linux & virtual environments).
Log incidents and changes using ITSM system.
