Job summary

Adept Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join our team in Selangor. This full-time role supports construction and engineering projects and handles on-site administrative procurement activities.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, reviewing MROs, negotiating with suppliers, managing POs, and maintaining stock records. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in purchasing in a related field and strong negotiation abilities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procuring raw materials, components and equipment for construction and operations.
• Review MROs from project sites and verify information, specs, quantities and approvals.
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain inventory records and generate stock/purchasing reports.
• Support procurement policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
