Job summary

Advancecon Holdings Berhad is seeking a Purchasing Senior Executive (Construction) to source materials, manage POs, DOs and invoices, and ensure timely deliveries across major earthworks and infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years’ procurement experience, with strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills; SQL experience is highly preferred. You will work independently to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain, preferably in earthwork or construction.
• Experience with SQL systems is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment and services based on project requirements.
• Manage POs, deliveries, DOs and invoices accurately and on time.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and favourable supplier terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery timelines.
• Maintain procurement records, reports and supplier information.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and efficiency.
