Job summary

Tec D Malaysia is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant for Network & Security to design solutions and support the sales cycle. You will engage with customers, craft high-level designs, and deliver product demonstrations and POCs tailored to client requirements.

In this role, you will collaborate with vendors and partners, stay current on cybersecurity technologies, and help translate business needs into technical architectures while contributing to winning bids and RFI/RFP responses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Network & Security pre-sales, systems engineering, or solution consulting.
Experience with enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions; distributor/system integrator/vendor background is a plus.

Responsibilities

Technical solution consulting: understand requirements, design and architect network & security solutions, create high-level designs and BOMs.
Sales support: qualify opportunities, respond to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, assist in tender discussions.
Customer engagement: deliver presentations, run workshops, demos, and POCs; position solutions effectively against competitors.
