Michael Page is recruiting for a leading eco-friendly gardening retailer in Malaysia, overseeing a network of mall kiosks and pop-up stores. The role focuses on driving sales, profitability, and productivity across sites, while building scalable retail processes and teams.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional store teams, optimize customer service, and implement SOPs and visual merchandising to maximize growth and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Must oversee multi-site retail operations.
• Track and improve store performance and KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to retail operating standards and merchandising basics.
• Analyze data to provide clear, actionable updates.
• Resolve operational issues at store level.
• Coordinate activities across multiple retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across mall kiosks and pop-ups to hit sales and profitability targets.
• Drive cross-selling and upselling to raise basket size and UIP.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate frontline teams for consultative service.
• Develop SOPs, sales scripts, incentives, and best practices.
• Monitor P&L, inventory, and KPIs for sustainable growth.
• Improve visual merchandising and promotional activity to boost conversions.
• Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and wastage for live plants and perishables.
• Support expansion by establishing scalable retail processes for new outlets.
