Job summary

PositiveLinks Asia is seeking a seasoned Facilities Management leader to oversee Repair & Maintenance and technical operations across a large network of retail locations in Malaysia. You will drive uptime, governance, and cost control by leading a multi-site FM/Engineering team and managing outsourced contractors.

This role requires 5–8 years in facilities/engineering, strong vendor management, budgeting experience, and a track record of delivering service levels across locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Management or related discipline.
• 5–8 years of facilities management/engineering/technical operations experience.
• Experience across multiple locations and managing vendors, SLAs and service performance.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Repair & Maintenance and Facilities Management across a large retail network.
• Oversee maintenance, repair and readiness of facilities and equipment across locations.
• Monitor maintenance cases via the CMMS and ensure SLAs are met.
• Manage outsourced contractors and ensure performance and quality.
• Drive equipment reliability and efficient maintenance processes.
• Travel to outlets and engage in stakeholder discussions as needed.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost control for FM and related activities.
• Direct a team of 20–30 and develop three direct reports.
