Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Facilities Maintenance & Operations Manager in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee a field service team responsible for efficient and safe maintenance of client locations, with responsibilities across preventive maintenance and repairs. This role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services function.

You will lead training, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and drive service quality while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, schedules, and cross-training.
• Manage all technical training requirements including skill assessments and scenario training.
• Communicate with clients and facility occupants to ensure satisfaction and expand contract scope.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and certification requirements and support audit readiness.
• Maintain accurate performance metrics and report to the Site Manager.
• Facilitate meetings with partners to prioritize work orders and timelines.
• Model CBRE RISE values and drive collaboration across teams.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
