Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks an Operations Maintenance Manager in Malaysia to oversee a field service team responsible for efficient and safe maintenance of client locations. You will lead training, schedule work, ensure compliance, and provide performance reports to the Site Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5–8 years' relevant experience, plus strong leadership and MS Office skills. This position is based on-site in Kuching, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching and mentoring.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and set performance expectations.
• Strong leadership to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, schedules and tasks.
• Manage training requirements including skill assessments and scenario training.
• Communicate with clients and occupants to ensure satisfaction and expand contract scope.
• Ensure compliance with relevant licenses and certification requirements.
• Maintain metrics and provide timely reports to the Site Manager.
• Lead meetings to finalize priority of work orders and downtime windows.
• Model CBRE RISE values in daily operations.
