Job summary

Shopee is looking for a dynamic Business Development professional to manage and grow assigned merchant accounts in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive participation in ShopeeFood campaigns, hit monthly KPI targets, and work closely with merchants to resolve sales and operational challenges.

Travel within the assigned area is required to visit merchants and ensure campaign success. You will identify high-potential merchants, convert them into ShopeeFood partners, and collaborate with internal teams for

Qualifications

0–2 years of experience in business development, relationship/account management or sales (fresh graduates welcome).
Diploma or SPM graduates from all backgrounds welcome to apply.
Flexible to travel within your assigned area for merchant visits.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, Chinese language or other dialects will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow assigned merchant accounts by tracking performance and encouraging participation in ShopeeFood campaigns and promotions.
Achieve monthly KPI targets through co-funded campaigns and promotional initiatives, with commission incentives tied to performance.
Work closely with merchants to address their sales and operational challenges.
Identify and develop high-potential merchants within the assigned area and convert them to ShopeeFood merchants.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and a positive merchant experience.
Monitor and report competitor activities and market trends within the assigned areas.
Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
