Job summary

ShopeeFood is seeking a proactive sales associate to acquire and activate F&B merchants across Malaysia, driving growth on the leading food delivery platform. You will engage outlets via phone, online, or in-person to meet signup targets.

You will prioritise high-potential outlets, maintain the sales funnel for accurate forecasting, and ensure timely submission of paperwork and reports. Fluency in English, Malay, and Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma holder; Business/Commerce/Marketing is a plus.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1–2 years in sales or related fields.
• Interest in e-commerce and digital payments.
• Good presentation skills and basic business acumen.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Multilingual: English, Malay and Chinese preferred.
• Willing to be on-ground during peak periods as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and activate F&B merchants across assigned areas via phone, online or face-to-face to meet signup targets.
• Prioritise high-potential outlets and explore underserved sub-areas for expansion.
• Maintain and update the sales funnel for accurate forecasting and progress tracking.
• Submit merchant paperwork, onboarding forms and reports timely and accurately.
• Record insights and merchant/competitor feedback, escalating actionable items to the team.
• Identify competitor activity and recommend quick-win actions to protect and grow ShopeeFood’s presence.
• Support account management and cross-functional teams with handovers and merchant follow-through.
