About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer to join PMG Healthcare SDN. BHD. in Limbang, Sarawak. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to our diverse patient population. As a Medical Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, contributing to the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve. This role is integral to our mission of providing accessible and effective medical care in the Limbang region.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical examinations

Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices

Prescribing appropriate medications and monitoring patient responses to treatment

Providing preventative care advice and health education to patients

Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records and documentation

Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care

Referring patients to specialist services when necessary

Participating in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Adhering to all relevant medical regulations, ethical standards and workplace policies

What we're looking for

Recognised medical degree and valid registration with the Malaysian Medical Council

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience working as a Medical Officer or General Practitioner

Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills across a broad spectrum of medical conditions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical advances

Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple patients efficiently

Proficiency in Malay, English and Mandarin language

Preference for candidates with experience in primary care or general practice settings
