We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D function and take ownership of product development — from first concept sketch to certified, production-ready design. This isn't a routine drafting role: you'll be at the center of how our products evolve, working on real engineering problems that shape what gets manufactured, tested, and shipped to EPC and industrial customers globally.
Lead R&D initiatives to design and develop new products and product variants using 3D CAD (SolidWorks) — from concept through to production-ready drawings with proper tolerancing and revision control
Research materials, manufacturing methods, and industry standards (e.g. NEMA VE1, IEC 61537) to push product performance, strength-to-weight ratio, and cost-efficiency forward
Translate customer and market requirements into innovative, manufacturable engineering solutions
Design and build testing jigs, fixtures, and validation setups to physically prove out new designs
Prepare and maintain detailed engineering, fabrication, and assembly drawings, along with technical documentation (installation guides, load rating datasheets, product specs)
Drive continuous improvement of existing products for manufacturability, performance, and quality
Benchmark competitor products and emerging designs to identify opportunities for differentiation
Provide technical support to Production, Sales, and Customers during design, fabrication, and installation
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new designs move smoothly from prototype to full production
Contribute ideas and lead initiatives as part of the company's broader innovation and engineering roadmap
Genuine curiosity for engineering — someone who enjoys prototyping, testing, and iterating, not just drafting to spec
Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think independently and propose practical, tested solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Hands‑on understanding of fabrication processes (sheet metal, welding, machining) is a strong advantage
Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude with a willingness to experiment and learn from failure
