Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Automation Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing automated machinery and systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and schematics for automated systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- System Integration: Design mechanical components that integrate seamlessly with electrical and control systems for automated processes.
- Prototyping: Develop prototypes and oversee testing to evaluate functionality and refine designs.
- Customization: Modify and customize designs to meet specific client or project requirements.
- Material Selection: Select appropriate materials and components to ensure durability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), user manuals, and assembly instructions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure project alignment and successful implementation.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges during the design and manufacturing phases.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or robotics.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, kinematics, and automation principles.
- Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools and techniques.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication).
