Job summary

Stratus Automation Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a warehouse/ logistics associate to join our material handling team. You will receive, inspect, store, pick, and dispatch materials while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and at least 3 years in warehousing. We value teamwork and safe, orderly storage practices, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school education, certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and physical dexterity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with production support processes, including material/component kitting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of items in designated areas.
• Issue materials and supplies according to approved requests and document all transactions.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks; report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Monitor stock levels and inform purchasing team when reordering is required.
• Ensure all items are stored securely to prevent damage, loss, or expiry.
• Assist in preparing and loading goods for delivery or dispatch.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all stock movement records.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the storage area at all times.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards during all store operations.
