Job summary

Menicon Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse/Material Store Handler in Kulim, Kedah. The role involves receiving and inspecting incoming materials, confirming quantities against purchase orders, and maintaining accurate ERP/MES inventory records.

You will issue materials for internal users and shipments, ensure proper labeling, and uphold 5S safety standards. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is required, with forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education level: SPM/STPM, Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in Material Store Handling.
• Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with ERP systems & material inventory management.
• Knowledge of inventory control, ability to lift heavy material and operate forklift or pallet jack.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia language proficiency.

Responsibility

Handles, moves and stores various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. In addition, main duties include loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses and ensure deliveries properly match purchase orders.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials from vendor or internal departments.
• Verify quantities received against purchase order.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and MES systems.
• Arrange materials issuance for users and finished goods for shipment.
• Ensure all storage items are with required identification label.
• Ensure materials are handled and stored in a manner that preserves quality and prevents damage.
• Report any quality issues or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain warehouse area Safety and 5S.
• Other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

Qualifications

• Education level: SPM/ STPM, Diploma or equivalent.
• Year of Experiences: Preferable minimum 2 years working experience in Material Store Handling.
• Capability: Proficient in MS Office, familiarity with ERP systems & material inventory management.
• Skill(s): Knowledge of inventory control, ability to lift heavy material and experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
