Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a warehouse associate to handle loading, unloading, receiving, and internal transfers, ensuring timely delivery to production lines and shipping areas. You will perform inventory transactions, labeling, and storage in designated locations, while supporting cycle counts and stock reconciliation.

You will pick materials per work orders, pack for shipment, and assist loading to meet shipping schedules.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy is required and you should be comfortable using warehouse software.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with attention to detail are essential.
• Physically fit to lift, move materials, and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, receive, and transport materials using forklifts and other approved equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines, storage locations and shipping areas.
• Perform inventory transactions and ensure proper labeling and storage in designated locations.
• Support cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliation; report discrepancies promptly.
• Pick materials according to work orders and packing/shipping documents; prepare for shipment.
• Operate equipment safely, maintain 5S housekeeping, report unsafe conditions.
• Perform daily pre-use inspections on equipment and coordinate with maintenance.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, planning, logistics and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines, storage locations, and shipping areas.

Perform receiving, put-away, replenishment, internal transfers, and material issuance according to established procedures.

Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during movement and storage.

Responsibilities:-

Material Handling

• Load, unload, receive, and transport materials, products, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other approved material handling equipment.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines, storage locations, and shipping areas.
• Perform receiving, put-away, replenishment, internal transfers, and material issuance according to established procedures.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage during movement and storage.

Inventory Control

• Perform inventory transactions accurately using the warehouse management or ERP system (e.g., Oracle).
• Ensure all materials are properly identified, labelled, and stored in designated locations.
• Assist in cycle counts, stocktakes, and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect documentation promptly.

Order Picking & Shipping

• Pick materials accurately according to work orders, production requests, or shipping documents.
• Pack, wrap, label, and stage materials for shipment in accordance with customer and company requirements.
• Support loading activities to ensure shipments are dispatched accurately and on schedule.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Operate all material handling equipment safely and in compliance with company safety procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards (5S) in warehouse and storage areas.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, near misses, or equipment defects immediately.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and company procedures.

Equipment Care

• Perform daily pre-use inspections on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Report equipment abnormalities and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Ensure equipment is operated only by authorized personnel.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with warehouse, production, planning, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Support warehouse improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support business requirements.

Job Requirements:-

Education

• Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling operations is preferred.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is an added advantage.

Certifications

• Valid Malaysian Forklift Driving License (JKKP) is an added advantage.

• Ability to identify part numbers, quantities, and material labels accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials safely.
