Job summary

Elsa Energy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Material Coordinator to organize and oversee readiness, receiving, inspection, storage, and disposal of assets at multiple warehouses and yards. You will ensure safe offloading/loading and proper cargo handling, while coordinating inspections and customs for imported materials.

The role requires at least five years of warehouse experience, a diploma in a related discipline, and knowledge of SAP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics).
• Minimum five years' experience as Material Coordinator with warehouse knowledge.
• Knowledge in SAP and SAP SMARTGEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Organize, monitor and execute readiness, receiving, inspection, storage, withdrawal and disposal for stock and non-stock assets at warehouses and yards.
• Coordinate QAQC inspections for goods received and arrange third-party inspection as needed.
• Provide logistics support to ensure smooth base operations and vessel movement to avoid delays.
• Handle Customs declarations for imported materials/equipment at bonded supply bases.
• Create and expedite purchase requests and monitor delivery.
• Record receipts, withdrawals and returns accurately in the materials management system.
• Prepare post-drilling inventory report after project completion.
• Consolidate inventory to minimize surplus and storage costs.

Job description

Contract Basis : 6 months + 6 months (Call-Off Basis)

Responsibilities

• Responsible to organize, monitor and execute readiness, receiving, inspection, storage and withdrawal and assets disposal functions for stock and non-stock (i.e.: surplus, rental and refurbished equipment) kept at Company Warehouse & Yard / Vendors Warehouse & Yard / Drilling rig. To ensure safe and efficient offloading/loading and transportation of materials to the respective Warehouse/Yard/Jetty in line with prudent warehouse practices in administering purchased assets.
• Organize and execute Inspection (QAQC) for all goods received in the respective Supply Base and prior shipment to location. Where a Third-Party Inspection (TPI) is required, issue necessary Work order on timely basis so that materials (purchased, rented and repaired equipment and back loaded surplus materials) can be inspected and accepted by Company in timely manner. To ensure approved and proper cargo handling equipment (basket or containers) being used.
• Coordinating and providing logistics support to ensure the running of supply base operation smoothly and manage the vessel movement from Supply Base to the rig to avoid any delay to the offshore and onshore operation.
• Organize, monitor and execute activities for Customs Declaration for materials/equipment imported into the respective Supply Base (bonded areas) so that materials can be received on time and in correct quantity.
• Create & expedite the PR/Orders for LLI and monitor delivery.
• Update all the receipts of purchased materials, withdrawals of stock and non-stock items and returns of surplus into stock on correctly and on timely basis in materials management system.
• Prepare post drilling report/inventory list after project completion.
• Consolidate and manage inventory to minimize surplus and warehouse storage cost.

Requirement

• Diploma in related discipline (i.e.: Supply Chain, Logistic)
• Minimum five (5) years' experience as Material Coordinator with knowledge in warehouse procedure and process (i.e.: receiving, storage, dispatch, yard operation, etc.).
• Knowledge in SAP and/or SAP SMARTGEP system.
