Job summary

Vantris Energy | Drilling is seeking a Materials Specialist to support warehouse and materials management, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, control, movement and availability of materials for onshore and offshore operations. • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Materials Management, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Experience with offshore drilling, oil & gas, marine, or industrial operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory accuracy, control, and optimization, including stock counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
• Monitor excess, obsolete, surplus, and slow-moving inventory and support inventory reduction and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support ERP/materials management systems, including material master data accuracy and material catalogue standardization.
• Drive and support process improvements, best practices, and continuous improvement across warehouse and materials management activities.
• Provide materials support to onshore and offshore operations, ensuring material availability, tracking, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, QHSSE, Finance, and vendors to ensure effective materials management.
• Prepare inventory and materials management reports and provide support for operational planning and materials readiness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSSE requirements, and audit standards, including follow-up and closure of audit findings.
• Identify and elevate inventory, compliance, and operational risks to the Lead Materials.
• Contribute to a strong safety, compliance, and continuous improvement culture.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS / RELEVENT EXPERIENCE

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Materials Management, Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in offshore drilling, oil & gas, marine, or industrial operations is preferred.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Strong skills in inventory, warehouse & logistics management.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Knowledge of QHSSE, compliance, audit, and records management.
• Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
