Job summary

TE Connectivity Malaysia in Penang seeks a senior Talent Acquisition Leader to drive direct labor hiring for manufacturing operations. You will lead high-volume recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding coordination, and employer branding to build a sustainable talent pipeline that supports plant growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years in talent acquisition, workforce planning, or manufacturing HR.
• Experience leading high-volume direct labor recruitment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end direct labor recruitment to meet plant hiring targets (operators, technicians, etc.).
• Develop and execute workforce attraction strategies with agencies and institutions.
• Manage external staffing vendors to ensure supply, quality, and timeliness.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and pipeline health (fill rate, time-to-fill, source effectiveness).
• Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, and HR to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
• Drive continuous improvement of recruitment processes and onboarding effectiveness.
• Support workforce planning by forecasting labor demand and aligning with production needs.
• Lead and develop TA team while ensuring compliance with policies and governance.
• Promote employer branding to strengthen the company as an employer of choice in the local market.
