Job summary

VAT Group in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead end-to-end recruitment for Direct and Indirect Labor, with potential regional scope across Asia. You will oversee a hybrid model, optimize capacity, and coach a team to deliver high‑quality talent aligned with workforce plans.

The role requires strategic thinking, stakeholder partnership, and governance across external partners, while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and global TA policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in HR, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years Talent Acquisition experience, incl. 2–3 years in people leadership in Malaysia.
• Experience leading high-volume DL/IDL recruitment in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, develop Talent Acquisition professionals.
• Strong stakeholder management and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment operations for Malaysia, with potential regional scope.
• Personally manage senior, strategic, or business‑critical roles from intake to onboarding.
• Partner with HRBPs and leaders to translate workforce needs into hiring plans.
• Build and maintain pipelines for critical and future hiring requirements.
• Ensure consistent recruitment processes, assessment methods, and interview standards.
• Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and adjust actions to meet hiring objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruitment productivity, quality, and candidate experience.
• Forecast demand and mitigate capacity constraints to meet business hiring commitments.
