Job summary

GSC Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced mall operations leader to direct daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations. The role focuses on delivering a safe, cost-efficient, and high-quality shopping environment while driving occupancy and revenue growth.

Responsibilities include managing in-house and contracted maintenance teams, overseeing M&E systems, negotiating leases, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring excellent tenant and customer service across the mall portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Property/Real Estate Management.
• Minimum 5 years in property/building/shopping centre industry and minimum 2 years in a management level.
• Familiarity with building/mall maintenance work and regulations.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports, budgets, contracts and similar documents to manage and operate a retail mall.
• Good communication and management skills in managing subordinates, consultants and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily mall operations and upkeep to ensure cost-efficient performance.
• Manage maintenance team and contractors for M&E systems.
• Negotiate leases and renewals with tenants."
• Coordinate with authorities to obtain and renew licenses.
• Ensure excellent customer service and tenant relations.
