Job summary

Sime Darby Property is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead the daily operations and maintenance of a major shopping mall in Malaysia. You will oversee building services, plan preventive maintenance, manage the annual operation budget, and collaborate with tenants and marketing teams to ensure optimal mall performance.

Your background includes at least 10 years in shopping mall management with 5 years in asset enhancement, and a degree in Property Management or related discipline.

Qualifications

• Degree in Property Management or related discipline required.
• At least 10 years of exposure in Shopping Mall management and 5 years in asset enhancement; with 10 years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations team in managing building services and maintenance of the mall.
• Plan, formulate, manage, and oversee the operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the shopping mall.
• Review the facilities management programs to ensure optimum mall performance.
• Support in marketing events and activities for the mall.
• Prepare annual operation budget, administration, and management of service contracts.
• Prepare and collate relevant management reports.
• Ensure reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment.
• Collaborate with Head, Facilities & Operations on energy conservation programs to reduce operating costs.
• Analyze data to conduct proactive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain good relations with tenants and coordinate tenant fit-out works and Asset Enhancement Projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations team in managing building services and maintenance of the mall.
• Plan, formulate, manage, and oversee the operations, maintenance, and the upkeep of the shopping mall.
• Review the facilities management programs and developments to ensure that the shopping mall perform at an optimum level.
• Support in all marketing events & activities plan the shopping mall.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual operation budget, administration, and management of service contracts.
• Responsible for the preparation and collation of relevant management reports.

Job Responsibilities (Con't):

• Ensure the reliability and efficiency of plant and equipment.
• Work together with Head, Facilities & Operations to conduct energy conservation & environmental program with a view to reduce operating cost.
• Responsible for the system including analyzing data to conduct proactive maintenance to minimize equipment down time.
• Maintain good relations with tenants, coordinate tenant's fit out works and Asset Enhancement Projects.
• Ensure the property is well kept in all manners.

Education/Professional Qualification:

• Degree in Property Management, Land Management, Valuation, Estate Management, Business Administration or any related disciplines
• Related qualifications in Real Estate from professional institutions is an added advantage.

Professional Experience:

• At least 10 years of exposure in Shopping Mall management and 5 years of exposure in asset enhancement; with 10 years of managerial experience
