Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to manage electrical, plumbing, boiler and air-conditioning systems across units. The role includes basic carpentry, use of hand and power tools, and regular inspections to maintain standards.

The candidate will coordinate routine maintenance with minimal disruption to guests, respond to emergencies, and assist with homestay preparation and ad-hoc tasks. Weekend work is required in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Experience across electrical, plumbing, boiler and AC systems.
• General carpentry and repair knowledge.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Inspect units regularly to stay within standards.
• Coordinate routine maintenance without disturbing guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, boiler and AC systems.
• Inspect units to ensure compliance with staying standards.
• Plan and organize repair projects with minimal guest disruption.
• Respond quickly to emergency issues to resolve problems.
• Procure or dispatch refill items and essential supplies for units.
• Prepare homestay setups and assist with ad-hoc tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, water boiler system and air-conditioner system.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect units regularly to ensure it meets staying standard.
• Arrange for routine maintenance in unit
• Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
• Act fast to resolve emergency issues
• Purchase / Send refill items to units eg: essential items (Toilet roll, Shampoo, garbage and etc)
• Set up homestay preparation
• Ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

• Have own Motor bike or car
• High problem solving skills and able to solve problems independently
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Working hours: 9:30am - 6pm

Full time 6 days a week ( Off on Weekday or Weekend )
