Job summary

Win-Fung Fibreglass in Shah Alam is seeking a maintenance technician with 1–2 years of hands-on experience to perform routine maintenance and repair on production machinery. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues and reading technical manuals and schematics.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, maintain records, and ensure workplace safety while assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment and handling service requests across factory,

Qualifications

Certificate / Diploma in electrical/building maintenance or any relevant technical field.
Minimum of 1 - 2 year of experience in a maintenance technician role.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical , plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services according to schedule.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Monitor maintenance contractor during renovation/ upgrading works
Attend to all service request such as changing lights, ceiling boards, painting and other repair works in the factory, hostel, & office
To upkeep company building and hostel at all time in good condition
Any other duties/ task will be assigned by superior from time to time
