Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production machinery and facilities. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safe operations in the factory, hostel, and office environments.

The ideal candidate holds a certificate/diploma in electrical/building maintenance or related field with 1–2 years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

Certificate / Diploma in electrical/ building maintenance or any relevant technical field.
Minimum of 1 - 2 year of experience in a maintenance technician role.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair on production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services according to schedule.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Monitor maintenance contractor during renovation/upgrading works.
Attend to all service requests such as changing lights, ceiling boards, painting and other repair works in the factory, hostel, & office.
To upkeep company building and hostel at all time in good condition.
Any other duties/ task will be assigned by superior from time to time.
