Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a proactive sales professional to drive day-to-day sales operations, handle inquiries and quotations, and provide after-sales service to ensure timely payments. You will expand existing accounts and prospect new ones in lubricant/auto parts or chemical distribution, building strong relationships and understanding customer needs.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or business studies.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 1–2 years in lubricant, automotive spare-parts or chemical distribution preferred.
• Good written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an added advantage.
• Proficient with MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day sales operations including regular sales calls and visits, handling inquiries and quotations, after sales service and timely payment collection within credit terms.
• Develop new sales volume in existing portfolio and expand new accounts by prospecting.
• Build rapport, understand customer needs, advise on product application, pricing, promotions, and delivery.
• Interact with customers at all levels in a fast-paced market with initiative and efficiency.
• Submit daily and weekly pipeline reporting; perform monthly sales forecast and sell-out analysis.
• Provide market intelligence on pricing, product, competitors and trends.
• Acquire lubricant product knowledge through in-house trainings; overcome objections and rejection confidently.
