Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage operations, coordinate transportation, and ensure timely delivery across the supply chain. The role requires a Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Mandarin fluency is preferred for dealings with Mandarin-speaking clients. You will negotiate contracts, monitor inventory, and optimize distribution processes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of logistic procedures and supply chain processes.
• Understanding of international trade regulations; knowledge is a plus.
• Mandarin fluency preferred as role interacts with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery and monitor movement efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Monitor warehouse inventory levels.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies.
• Optimize the supply chain process for improved efficiency.
• Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Responsible for shipment and delivery arrangement.
• Responsible for full set import/export document preparation.
• Shipment from origin country to destination warehouse.
• Propose innovative ways to improve service and cost.
• Follow up shipping process documents, freight payment, and audits.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
