Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies that optimise warehousing, inventory control and transportation processes. You will lead a team, manage carrier relations, and ensure timely delivery while complying with safety standards and company policies.

You will collaborate with sales, procurement and finance to align operations with business objectives and drive cost efficiency through data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize logistics, warehouse, and transportation processes.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and stock control.
• Manage transportation logistics, coordinating with carriers and optimizing routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and maintaining client relationships.
• Lead and mentor a team of operational staff.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvements and report KPIs to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and finance to align operations with business goals.
• Manage operating budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and related technologies.
