Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage operations and coordinate transportation activities, ensuring timely delivery and efficient movement of goods. The role requires a Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

You will negotiate with suppliers and carriers, monitor inventory, and develop distribution strategies while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of logistical procedures and best practices.
• Understanding of supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
• Mandarin fluency preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and coordinate transportation activities.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and monitor movement efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and customers.
• Monitor and manage warehouse inventory levels effectively.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies.
• Optimize the supply chain process for improved efficiency.
• Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Responsible for shipment and delivery arrangement.
• Responsible for full set import/export document preparation.
• Responsible for shipment from origin country until destination warehouse.
• Propose innovative ways to improve service and cost, from technological and process perspectives.
• Follow up shipping documents, freight payment controls, audit system, and ensure all documents and processes are updated.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
