Job summary

A global logistics corporation in Port Klang is seeking a candidate for a role focused on customer relationship management and logistics coordination. The ideal applicant will have a diploma/degree in Business or Logistics and possess 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in the Chemical field. Job description

We are a global logistics corporation. With our expansion in Port Klang, we would like to invite the right candidate to join our team.

Job Descriptions
  • To build, establish, maintain and improve relationships with customers
  • Ensure consignment orders are processed accurately based on the order and instructions given by the customer and/or management.
  • Able to communicate and coordinate with Shippers, Customers, Customs broker, Transporters on cargo transportations/status.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Operations to ensure timely and accurate movements of inventory.
  • Assist in customs documentation and ensure accurate declaration of import and export permits.
  • Maintain a systematic document filing.
  • Ensure prompt billing of invoices and assisting in overdue payment collection.
  • Perform any other ad hoc assigned by the department head.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree holder in Business/ Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics field, preferably with experience in the Chemical field.
  • Positive working attitude & be a good team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications, e.g. Excel/words.
  • Good communication and interaction skills.
  • Neat and discipline on documentation.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Melayu.
