Job summary

Fastenal Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to plan and manage operations, liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers and customers.

You will handle inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, insurance, and prepare invoices and packing lists while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or related field is preferred.

Job description

Requirements:

Plan & manage logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies & customers.

Manage all inbound and outbound shipments including custom clearance and insurance for any mode of transport/ shipment or self-collection.

Deliver solutions to logistics’ problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports and exports or customer issues while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.

Arrange the loading of Finished goods into container & land transport.

Responsible for proper filing and documentation in order to comply with Audit requirements.

Prepare invoice, packing list, analysis report as well as apply for import and export permit from government authority when a shipment is confirmed and to be delivered.

Additional ad-hock task assigns by superior from time to time.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and shipping documentation is an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
