We are seeking a proactive and meticulous Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate the company's logistics, transportation, shipping, inventory, and warehouse operations. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth and cost-efficient movement of goods, maintaining accurate inventory flow, coordinating deliveries and shipments, and supporting overall operational efficiency across the plant and office functions.
Coordinate and manage domestic deliveries and export shipments to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to customers.
Arrange transportation and logistics activities, including selection of suitable transport modes, routes, and delivery schedules.
Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation and accurate recording of all movements.
Prepare and manage shipping, transportation, and delivery documentation, including relevant product specifications and certificates.
Prepare relevant permit declarations and applications with regulatory authorities where required.
Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, 3PL providers, warehouses, and other logistics service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Compile, update, and monitor transporter and freight rates, logistics costs, and service performance.
Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with transporters, freight forwarders, and relevant parties on shipment status and delays.
Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers regarding delivery and shipment status.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and follow up on any discrepancies.
Monitor product demand, outstanding orders, and stock availability, and provide timely inventory updates to relevant internal stakeholders to support order fulfilment.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel and 3PL/warehouse providers to ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of goods.
Monitor warehouse capacity and coordinate with 3PL/warehouse providers on space requirements and operational matters when necessary.
Ensure goods are properly handled, stored, packed, and dispatched according to company requirements and relevant procedures.
Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, deliveries, shipments, inventory movements, and related documentation.
Liaise with finance, production and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and order fulfilment activities.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce transportation costs, optimize delivery arrangements, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
At least one to two years of practical experience in logistics, freight handling, shipping, transportation, and warehouse operations.
Strong working knowledge of shipping documentation, trade permit applications, transportation arrangements, and inventory management practices.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Strong organizational and coordination skills, with keen attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation, timely deliveries, inventory accuracy, and compliance with relevant requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with transporters, freight forwarders, warehouse/3PL providers, customers, and internal departments such as Finance and Operations.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Good problem-solving and follow-up skills to effectively manage delivery issues, shipment delays, inventory discrepancies, and other logistics-related matters.
