Gentle Supreme Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Logistics & Inventory Planner in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role ensures timely inflow of goods, accurate inventory records and coordinated handling with sales and internal teams. You will manage documentation, customs clearance, and cost controls to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years logistics experience in FMCG.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, MicroStrategy.

• Ensure accuracy of purchase price, quantity and on-time shipments.
• Manage inflow of goods with internal teams and forwarders.
• File and declare local documentation for customs in line with regulations.

ManagesInflowofGoodsincludingflowofdocumentsfromthepointofcontainerdeparture,arrivalatdestinationport,dischargedfromtheship,clearedfromport,truckingtowarehouse,offloadedatwarehouse,andreturnofemptycontainerwithintargetedleadtimeatoptimumcost.

ManagesinventoryinawaytomeetqualifiedcustomerdemandwhilealsomeetingCompanyinventorytarget.ThisrolewilluseforecastsfromthesalesteamanddatafromSAPandBIonexistinginventory,saleshistory,andopenorderstoensureaccurateinventoryplanning.Thisfunctionwillworkcloselyandinco-ordinationwiththeSalesTeamandinternalTeam.

KeyRoles/Responsibilities

• Ensuretheaccuracyofpurchaseprice,quantity,andon-timeshipment(asperdemand)
• ManageInflowofGoodswithinternalTeamandForwarders.
• Manageandensureproperfilingoflocaldocumentationanddeclarationsasneededforcustomrelease,andinlinewithgovernmentregulationandcompanypolicy.
• Manageshipmentclearancewithcustomsbrokerand/orforwardertoensuretimelyclearance.
• ManagetruckingtowarehousepriortoLastFreeDaytoavoidPortStorage,Demurrageand/orDetention.
• PromptandaccurateSAPinventoryrecordingandaccrualofestimatedLandedCost.
• Handleclaimsonshipmentsasneeded.
• Authorizeand/ordisputeShipperandLogisticsProviderpaymentsforaccounting.
• Negotiateandmanagecontractagreementswithsupplierstoensurecosteffectiveness,qualitystandardsandbeneficialdeliveryterms.
• ManagesallLogisticsProviders’contractincludingexpectedServiceLevelwithstructurebusinessperformancereview.
• Consolidationofforecast,supply,inventoryin-transit,on-handinventory,saleshistory,andopenorderstoensurecompleteorderfulfilmentsincludinglosstreeanalysisforallunfulfilledorders.
• Monitordays-on-handinventoryagainsttargetandidentifyingimprovementopportunities.
• Manageslow-movingandobsoletestocks(SLOB)byhighlightingslowandnon-movingstockstotheBusinesstogenerateappropriateactions.
• StockreconciliationbetweenSAPand3PLandidentifyingimprovementopportunities.
• ThisrolefunctionaspivotalcommunicationpointforSupplyand FulfilmentconstraintsbetweenSalesandinternalTeam.
• Keyinterfacebetweennumerouspartiestoproactivelytakeactionthatdeliverbusinessresults.
• Developandimplementprocessimprovementswithfocusonprocessefficiencyandcostsavings.
• Controllingthedepartmentaloperationsbudgetandmonitoringexpenses,andinitiatecontinuouscostsavinginitiatives.
• Promptsubmissionofallreportingwithaccuratedata.

Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor’sdegreeinanystreamwithSupplyChainManagement/LogisticsManagement/Businessorrelatedfieldequivalentcombinationofeducationandworkexperienceinthelogisticsindustry.
• Minimumof5yearsoflogisticsexperiencesinFMCG(FoodsandHomeCare).
• Shouldpossessgoodanalyticalskills,shouldbeSelf-starterindatamanagement.
• ProficientinMicrosoftOffice,SAP,MicroStrategy,WarehouseManagementSystem,TransportManagementSystem.
