Job summary

Linergy Power Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled import/export specialist to manage customs clearance and documentation for our logistics operations. You will prepare declarations, coordinate with customs authorities, and ensure timely clearance.

The role requires hands-on experience with K1 declarations, monthly reports, and accuracy in record-keeping. Mandarin language ability is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Customs K1 declarations and import/export documentation.
• Proficient in customs clearance procedures and reporting.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations and documentation.
• Mandarin communication (speaking, reading, writing) preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit Customs K1 declarations and related import/export docs.
• Prepare monthly Customs M1 & M2 reports and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, shipping agents to clear goods.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
• Maintain complete and accurate customs documentation for audits.
• Prepare monthly logistics reports covering shipments, inventory, and activities.
• Verify vendor invoices against delivery orders and service agreements.
• Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and timely.
• Maintain records of shipments, invoices, declarations, and payments.
• Perform data entry and update shipment and customs info in systems.

Job description

This role involves managing customs clearance, documentation, and reporting for import/export operations. You will prepare and submit customs declarations, monthly reports, and coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely clearance. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, processing vendor payments, managing shipment records, and supporting compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, review, and submit Customs K1 declarations and other relevant import/export documentation for customs clearance

Prepare and submit monthly Customs M1 & M2 reports accurately and on time

Coordinate with Customs, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance

Ensure all import/export and customs activities comply with applicable customs regulations and company policies

Maintain complete and accurate customs documentation for audits and future reference

Prepare monthly logistics reports covering shipments, inventory, customs, and import/export activities

Verify vendor invoices against delivery orders, service agreements, and supporting documents

Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and within the required timeline

Maintain accurate records of import/export shipments, invoices, delivery orders, customs declarations, and payment documents

Perform accurate data entry and update shipment and customs information in relevant systems

About you

Import/export, customs clearance, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping experience

Hands-on experience with Customs K1 declarations, import/export documentation, customs clearance procedures, and customs reporting

Good knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures and documentation

Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
