Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled import/export customs coordinator to manage declarations, reporting, and documentation for international shipments. You will work with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely clearance and accurate records.
The role requires hands-on experience with Customs declarations, procedures, and reporting, with a preference for candidates familiar with Malaysian regulations and Mandarin language skills.

This role involves managing customs clearance, documentation, and reporting for import/export operations. You will prepare and submit customs declarations, monthly reports, and coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping agents to ensure timely clearance. The position requires maintaining accurate documentation, processing vendor payments, managing shipment records, and supporting compliance activities.
Prepare, review, and submit Customs K1 declarations and other relevant import/export documentation for customs clearance
Prepare and submit monthly Customs M1 & M2 reports accurately and on time
Coordinate with Customs, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance
Ensure all import/export and customs activities comply with applicable customs regulations and company policies
Maintain complete and accurate customs documentation for audits and future reference
Prepare monthly logistics reports covering shipments, inventory, customs, and import/export activities
Verify vendor invoices against delivery orders, service agreements, and supporting documents
Prepare and process vendor payments accurately and within the required timeline
Maintain accurate records of import/export shipments, invoices, delivery orders, customs declarations, and payment documents
Perform accurate data entry and update shipment and customs information in relevant systems
Import/export, customs clearance, logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping experience
Hands-on experience with Customs K1 declarations, import/export documentation, customs clearance procedures, and customs reporting
Good knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures and documentation
Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred
