Inventec Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a logistics professional to enforce import/export policies and coordinate shipment operations in Penang. You will interface with customs and government agencies, prepare duty and tax exemption applications, and oversee documentation to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.
The role requires 1–2 years in a related field, experience in electronics manufacturing, and strong Malay/English. Mandarin is a plus; travel may be required.
Enforcing operational policies and procedures, freight space booking, and coordinating the import and export shipping operation
Interface with key government agencies such as customs and other agency officials
Prepare application for import duty, and tax exemption, prepare, maintain, and update all documentation related to LMW
Ensure complete compliance with import and export regulations, including overseeing preparation and submission of documentation, and maintaining statutory records
Liaise closely with forwarding agents for all customs-related issues, on import and export day-to-day operation and shipping documents preparation to ensure timely shipment
Liaise with freight forwarders and carriers for a quotation
Liaise and refer to the finished goods shipment schedules provided by the Production control
To monitor all import shipments schedules and update the purchasing, warehouse, planning & SCM departments
Reporting any shipping problems encountered directly to the Supply Chain Manager during the Order-fulfilment process
Filling of shipping documentation according to LMW requirements
Arrange truck transportation
Including another job, if necessary, in the absence of working colleagues
Perform multi-tasks and any ad hoc assignment as required by the management

At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Working experience in electronics manufacturing industry for at least 1~2 years
Good in written and spoken in Malay and English as minimum. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
