Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Logistic Officer | Shipping to manage international printer ink shipments from our Kinrara, Puchong site. The role requires coordinating with forwarders and suppliers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with Incoterms and applicable laws.

You will handle invoicing and documentation, negotiate freight prices, and track shipments while maintaining records and communicating with carriers and customers.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in logistics (shipping).
• Familiar with Incoterms.
• Familiar with SQL software.
• Experience preparing shipping documents (import/export) such as CIPL, BL, K1, K2, COO.
• Proficient in Mandarin, BM & English.
• Independent thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Committed and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments with forwarders and suppliers.

• Negotiate transportation and freight prices.
• Work with customs and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Maintain shipment records and inventory.

• Schedule shipments and plan logistics.
• Track shipments and update status.
• Organize and monitor inventory levels.
• Document damages to inventory.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues.
• Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare detailed invoices to accompany shipments.
• Perform other administrative tasks, e.g. data entry on payments & invoices

About the Company

The client is a specialized office equipment and printing solutions merchant located in Kinrara, Puchong.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Logistic Officer | Shipping to manage international shipments for the printer ink distribution network.

Location: Kinrara, Puchong, Malaysia (accessible by public transport)
Work Mode: Work From Office
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9am - 6pm)
Role: Logistic Officer | Shipping

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments: Ensure that shipments are timely and coordinate with forwarders and suppliers
• Handle documents: Collect, organize, and prepare shipping documents and invoices
• Negotiate prices: Negotiate transportation and freight prices
• Work with customs: Work with shipping agencies to resolve customs issues
• Ensure compliance: Ensure that company rules, laws, and regulations are followed
• Maintain records: Maintain shipment records for easy retrieval
• Communicate: Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers
• Solve problems: Solve shipping issues and discrepancies
• Preparing paperwork: Preparing and attaching all necessary shipping documents to each package
• Scheduling: Scheduling shipments and planning logistics
• Tracking: Tracking and updating the status of shipments
• Inventory: Organizing and monitoring inventory levels
• Documenting: Documenting damages to inventory
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting shipping issues
• Verifying: Verifying all incoming shipments to be accurate
• Invoicing: Preparing detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments
• Admin: Any other Administrative tasks, e.g data entry on payments & invoices

Requirements

Remuneration
