Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a responsible Logistics Intern to join our Cheng, Melaka team. This role offers hands-on exposure to logistics coordination, delivery planning, warehouse operations, transport documentation, and inventory control within a manufacturing setting.

You will verify goods against Delivery Orders, coordinate with the scheduler, maintain records, and support daily dispatch activities. The internship welcomes Diploma or Degree students in logistics or related fields and

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Detail-oriented and responsible when checking goods and handling documentation.
• Able to communicate effectively with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify goods loaded onto lorries against the Delivery Order (DO) to ensure quantity and product accuracy.
• Liaise with the logistics scheduler to assign the correct goods to the right lorry for delivery.
• Record and monitor loading activities and maintain documentation for tracking purposes.
• Input fuel data and maintain daily lorry records, including idling hours and fuel costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to support accurate and timely dispatch.
• Assist in preparing delivery records, stock reports, and basic logistics documentation.
• Support monthly stocktake and warehouse organisation when required.
• Assist with other logistics and operational tasks as assigned.
