Job summary

BLUE WAVE SHIPPING (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia is offering a Logistics Internship for students currently pursuing or recently graduated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business, or related fields. This role provides hands-on exposure to logistics operations, documentation, and coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with daily logistics activities, shipment coordination, documentation preparation, data entry, and reporting, while learning internal systems

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree students in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade or related fields.
• Basic knowledge or interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Good communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and take instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily logistics and operational activities.
• Support shipment coordination and tracking.
• Follow up with vendors, transporters, and internal teams.
• Update shipment status and records in internal systems.
• Assist in preparing and checking logistics documents such as Delivery Orders and Shipping Instructions.
• Maintain proper filing (physical and digital).
• Communicate with internal departments and external parties.

We are looking for Logistics Interns who are currently pursuing or have recently completed studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Business, or related fields. This internship provides hands-on exposure to logistics operations, documentation, and coordination activities in a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Operations Support

• Assist in daily logistics and operational activities
• Support shipment coordination and tracking
• Follow up with vendors, transporters, and internal teams
• Update shipment status and records in internal systems

Documentation & Administration

• Assist in preparing and checking logistics documents such as:
• Delivery Orders
• Shipping Instructions
• Maintain proper filing (physical and digital)
• Ensure documents are accurate and properly recorded

Coordination & Communication

• Communicate with internal departments and external parties
• Assist customer service and operations teams with enquiries
• Support follow-ups on pending tasks or documentation

Reporting & Data Entry

• Perform data entry and update operational records
• Assist in preparing basic reports when required
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of information

Education

• Diploma / Degree students in:
• Logistics & Supply Chain Management
• Business Administration
• International Trade
• Or related fields
• Basic knowledge or interest in logistics and supply chain operations
