We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to join our team in Cheng, Melaka. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to logistics coordination, delivery planning, warehouse operations, transport documentation, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Check and verify goods loaded onto lorries against the Delivery Order (DO) to ensure quantity and product accuracy.
- Liaise with the logistics scheduler to ensure the correct goods are assigned to the right lorry for delivery.
- Record and monitor loading activities and maintain proper documentation for tracking purposes.
- Input fuel data and maintain daily lorry records, including idling hours and fuel costs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to support accurate and timely dispatch.
- Assist in preparing delivery records, stock reports, and basic logistics documentation.
- Support monthly stocktake and warehouse organisation when required.
- Assist with other logistics and operational tasks as assigned.
What we’re looking for
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented and responsible when checking goods and handling documentation.
- Able to communicate effectively with warehouse, logistics, and transport teams.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
- Good organisational and record‑keeping skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proactive, responsible, and willing to learn.
