Job summary

Dermypack Plastic (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled professional to oversee supply chain and transport operations in Malaysia. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating shipment routes, selecting freight carriers, and tracking deliveries to minimize costs and transit times.

The role also covers inventory management, vendor and customer relations, compliance and documentation, and performance tracking to optimize the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate shipment routes to minimize costs and transit times.
• Oversee stock levels and track goods entering/leaving warehouse to prevent shortages/overstock.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, 3PLs and carriers and resolve delivery issues to maintain client satisfaction.
• Manage customs documentation, bills of lading, and import/export manifests; ensure workplace safety and adherence to trade laws.
• Analyse KPIs to identify bottlenecks and optimize supply chain processes.

Job description

Supply Chain & Transport: Plan and coordinate shipment routes, select freight carriers, and track deliveries to minimize costs and transit times.

Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, track goods entering and leaving the warehouse, and adjust for discrepancies to prevent overstocking or shortages.

Vendor & Customer Relations: Negotiate contracts with suppliers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and carriers. Resolve delivery or stock issues to maintain client satisfaction.

Compliance & Documentation: Manage customs documentation, bills of lading, and import/export manifests. Ensure workplace safety and adherence to trade laws.

Performance Tracking: Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and optimize supply chain processes
