Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipments and coordinate with customs, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will prepare shipping documents, handle RTV shipments, and maintain records while supporting month-end closing. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree is required, with Mandarin proficiency preferred for supplier communication.

Experience with Malaysia customs procedures (LMW) is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients.

This role involves coordinating daily shipments to customers, managing customs documentation, and ensuring on-time delivery. You will liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and customers to facilitate smooth import and export operations, while maintaining accurate records and managing logistics costs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments to customers and ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
• Arrange with forwarder for shipment pick-up and readiness of shipping documents and customs approval
• Generate shipment invoices, delivery orders, and packing lists for every shipment and perform system updates
• Liaise closely with customs authority and understand customs guidelines and requirements
• Liaise with customs to obtain related approval for all incoming and outgoing shipments and reports submission
• Coordinate customer return shipments and return to vendor (RTV) shipments
• Perform proper file keeping of all related shipping documents
• Posting e-invoices to customers
• Manage raw material pick transactions in the system and generate reports to ensure timely month-end closing
• Classify raw materials and finished goods by commodity and HTS code based on Malaysia customs requirements
• Compare and negotiate competitive logistics and freight charges and monitor freight forwarding company efficiency

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field
• Familiar with LMW customs procedures and shipping documents requirements (added advantage)
• Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients
