Job summary

IKD Limited is seeking a logistics professional in Malaysia to manage end-to-end shipping, documentation, and customs coordination for import/export activities.

The role includes warehouse and inventory oversight, coordinating vendor performance, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in logistics, shipping, or warehouse management, preferably in manufacturing.
• Languages: Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shipping & Customs Coordination: End-to-end shipping for imports/exports; prepare key documents (invoices, packing lists, BL, Form E/FTA, K1/K2).
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Monitor stock movements; ensure accurate data entry; coordinate receiving and dispatching.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate logistics providers; schedule transport; review quotations for cost savings.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations; align with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and safety audits.

Languages: Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. (Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage to liaise with international counterparts/suppliers).

Key Responsibilities

1. Shipping & Customs Coordination

• Manage end-to-end shipping processes for import and export activities.
• Prepare, verify, and process crucial shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading (BL), Form E/FTA, and customs declaration forms (K1, K2, etc.).
• Liaise with customs, freight forwarders, and transport agents to ensure smooth cargo clearance.

2. Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Monitor stock movements, ensuring accurate data entry in the inventory.
• Coordinate incoming material receiving and outbound finished goods dispatching processes.

3. Vendor Management

• Evaluate and manage the performance of logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and local transporters.
• Coordinate transport scheduling to meet production timelines and customer delivery deadlines.
• Review freight quotations and invoice discrepancies to identify cost‑saving opportunities.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all logistics operations comply with Malaysian labor, transport, and environmental regulations.
• Support international standards alignment, ensuring logistics documentation and warehouse practices meet ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and safety audit requirements.
