Job summary

Guppy Plastic Industries in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Logistics/Export Coordinator to manage export/import documentation, coordinate shipping arrangements, and ensure compliance with trade requirements. The role involves liaising with forwarding agents, coordinating container movements, and handling customer orders and invoices.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Logistics or a related field and 3–5 years of experience in logistics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, import & export, or supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience in import/export documentation, customs clearance, shipping arrangements, and freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Able to speak, read, and write Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export activities including liaising with forwarding and shipping agents and with banks on letters of credit and other trade documents.
• Liaise with store on container movement and keep track of container arrangements.
• Input sales orders for customers and coordinate with customers on PO requirements.
• Coordinate customer complaints and notify relevant departments.
• Issue invoices for export statements and assist in issuing purchase orders for export customers.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

• To comply with the requirements of the Management System implemented in the organization (HACCP, ISO 14001, BRC-IoP Packaging and FSC Chain of Custody).
• Liaise with forwarding and shipping agent on the container arrangement.
• Liaise with store on the container movement.
• To coordinate all export activities including liaise with bank on letter of credit and others relevant documents liaise with MICC, FMM and embassies on trade documentation that is required by respective countries.
• To key in the sales order for customers.
• Liaise with customers on their purchase order requirement.
• Coordinate customer complaint and notify relevant department.
• Issues the invoice for the export statements.
• Liaise with export or oversea customers on their purchase order requirement.
• Assist in issuance of purchase order for export customer.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR;
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, import & export, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in handling import and export documentation, customs clearance, shipping arrangements, and freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
• Able to speak, read, and write Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and business partners.
