Job summary

UNT OIL COMPANY SDN. BHD. is seeking a logistics professional to manage shipping documentation, LC shipments, and coordinate with carriers for timely deliveries of materials and products.

The role involves collaboration with Accounts, Warehouse, and Business Development to ensure accurate releases, issue resolution, and process improvements within a local Malayan context.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome; Chinese language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipping documentation (import/export permits, Form D) and coordinate with carriers for deliveries and shipments of raw materials from suppliers and finished goods to customers according to shipping schedule
• Prepare LC shipping documents and handle LC shipments
• Work with the Accounts department to monitor payments and invoices to determine release of cargo to customers
• Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to co-ordinate shipment of finished products
• Provide updates, resolve all shipping issues and communicate changes in shipping schedules to relevant stakeholders (Operations, Business Development, freight forwarders/agents, customers) when necessary
• Work with the Business Development department to handle shipping-related customer complaints and make necessary arrangements to resolve issues when necessary
• Arrange transportation for local delivery orders
• Handle insurance claims in the event of loss or damage of cargo
• Engage relevant stakeholders to review and improve shipping processes

Job description
