Job summary

Pegasus Global Logistics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mandarin-speaking logistics service assistant to coordinate import and export shipments, select transport modes, and liaise with carriers.

You will prepare documents, provide customers with real-time shipment updates, handle inquiries, and support local trucking and delivery status, with proficiency in Mandarin, Malay and English and 2–3 years of logistics customer service experience; on-site in Klang.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer service experience in Logistics/Freight
• Proficient in computer systems and multitasking
• Languages: Mandarin, Malay and English
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Arrange the full movement of import and export shipments, including selecting suitable transport modes (sea, air, land) and routes.
• Prepare, process, and review import/export shipping and customs-related documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Prepare supporting documents such as quotations and billing invoices for customers.
• Liaise and negotiate with carriers (shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies) to arrange cargo bookings and related transport documentation.
• Coordinate import and export customs clearance procedures with appointed agents and ensure compliance with international and local regulations (not required to perform customs declaration personally).
• Provide clients with real-time shipment updates and accurate delivery information.
• Act as the main contact point for clients — handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide continuous shipment updates.
• Manage local trucking arrangements and follow up on delivery status.
• Any other duties assigned by the management.
