Job summary

TRANSPAK PENANG SDN. BHD. is seeking an organized logistics professional to oversee LMW processes, ensuring renewal and compliance with import/export regulations while supporting efficient shipment flows.

The role involves developing customs and licensing activities, liaising with authorities, and maintaining shipping documentation. You will assist in QMS-related planning and perform general admin tasks under the HOD.

Qualifications

• Oversee LMW related processes and renewal annually.
• Implement effective methods for logistic planning execution.
• Ensure compliance with import and export regulations.
• Develop and maintain critical customs and licensing activities for shipments.
• Liaise with customs and government authorities (e.g., MIDA, MITI, LMW).
• Ensure adherence to the customs manual/handbook guidelines.
• Prepare and verify all shipping/receiving documents accurately and timely.
• Follow up on ETA shipping actions.
• Prepare and submit reports to authorities/management reviews.
• Perform general administration duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
• Understand requirements for a QMS, including documentation, planning, and process interactions.
• Other tasks assigned by HOD as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LMW processes and renewals.
• Coordinate logistic planning activities.
• Maintain import/export compliance.
• Manage customs and licensing for shipments.
• Coordinate with government authorities for approvals.
• Ensure compliance with manuals and guidelines.
• Ensure accurate shipping/receiving documentation.
• Monitor ETA shipping and action items.
• Prepare regulatory and management reports.
• Provide general admin support to the department.
• Develop and maintain QMS-related documentation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by HOD.

Job description

1. In Charge of LMW related processes & responsible in yearly LMW renewal.

2. Implement effective methods for proper execution of logistic planning.

3. Ensure compliance to all Import and Export regulations.

4. Development and maintenance critical customs and licensing activities to facilitate the shipment

in and out of the factory.

5. Liaising with custom and relevant government authorities (i.e: MIDA, MITI, LMW etc).

6. Ensure company is following guideline as per custom manual / handbook.

7. Ensuring all shipping and receiving documents is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

9. Follow up action for ETA shipping.

10. Prepare and submit reports to the authority / management review.

11. Perform any other general administration duties from time to time.

12. Understand on the requirements for a QMS, Including documented informations, planning and

determining process interactions.

13. Any others task assigned by the HOD from time to time.
